• You should make sure that your insurance policy does cover cost for evacuation and treatment of diving accidents. Experience has shown that the insurance provided through a Divers Alert Network (DAN) membership is very unbureaucratic and efficient in handling cases of dive accidents. Also, annual membership provides members with Diver Evacuation cover for a whole year, regardless of where in the world you dive.
