The Venue:
Mike Ball's SPOILSPORT needs no introduction. Many years ago, this spacious and comfortable dive boat has put luxury live-aboard diving on the Australian map. Recently refurbished, Spoilsport is now based in Cairns offering plenty of deck space, a comfortable bar/lounge area and a huge, well organised dive deck. The very friendly and competent crew ensure that novices as well as experienced divers enjoy a fascinating and relaxed diving experience in comfort and style. All cabins are twin share with ensuite facilities. Every meal promises to be a culinary delight.
The RIBBON REEFS are a sheltered chain of reefs between Cairns and Lizard and feature the most exciting dive sites along the Great Barrier Reef: Cod Hole, Pixie Pinnacle, Steve's Bommie, Lighthouse Reef… the list is endless. Lush coral gardens with thousands of colourful reef fish swirling around spectacular pinnacles are a delight for divers and snorkellers alike.

The Artists:
Kirtley Leigh and Mark Paine founded PARADISE CONCERTS in 2003. Their musical careers have taken them around the world, from the London Chamber Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic, to the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and the European Union Chamber Orchestra. Now Cairns is lucky to claim them, as this is the place they have chosen to live with their family. The world-class musicians performing for Paradise Concerts -often outdoors in beautiful rainforest settings- have raised the bar for classical concert recitals and chamber music performances in Far North Queensland.
BOB HALSTEAD is well known in the diving world as an explorer, prolific author and columnist, as well as the first live-aboard operator in Papua New Guinea. He has also taught Leigh and Mark to scuba dive. Most people don't know that Bob is also a talented musician himself, and he is looking forward to this classical music dive cruise as his first ever live-aboard experience without ear plugs.
