new building features traditional and modern north Queensland architecture with
the extensive use of timber in the entry and walkways. Port Douglas Retreat offers
36 self-contained studio units. Built on only two levels, the building blends
in with the tropical gardens which attract many native birds. Onsite undercover
security parking is available.
Linen is supplied, a guest laundry on the
premises.
All
studio apartments are air conditioned, self-contained with a well equipped kitchen
(microwave oven, hot plates, fridge).
