You can't go past Tasik Ria Resort if you are looking for a great diving holiday and value for money!

Bunaken National Park offers some 25 dive sites spread around 5 different islands. The health of the Reefs, the incredible bio-diversity, some of the best wall and drift diving you can imagine; this is a place where you will run out of time before you run out of dive spots.

Our first dive was at Lekuan 3, a lovely wall dive with great visibility and an abundance of corals and fishes. Not too deep, a gentle introduction to diving at Bunaken.

A more challenging dive is Pangulingan at Manado Tua. Quite strong currents (simply cross your arms and legs and enjoy the ride), but that brings with it the chance for encounters with some of the "big fellows", if you are lucky you may even see a hammerhead shark.

Superbly situated close to the numerous reefs of Bunaken National Park, this is a small, comfortable resort, where the guest's comfort is of prime importance. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, it is not difficult to unwind in this tropical paradise. After a hard day's diving, a cocktail at the poolside bar just hits the mark. However, should you not make it as far as that, there is always the Sunset Jetty Bar, not only offering nice cold Bintang and scrumptious cocktails, but you also get, totally free of charge, the most stunning sunsets, ever!

Tasik Ria Resort offers Seaview Cottages located right on the beach and also Poolview Rooms with private balcony, overlooking the lovely gardens and swimming pools. All cottages and rooms offer tasteful furnishings, telephone, air conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, Cable TV and a personal safe for your valuables. You can also order room service from early in the morning until late in the evening.

Dive Shop Dive boat by Eco-Divers, Tasik Ria, Manado

The dive operation at Tasik Ria Resort is run by Eco Divers, well known to European divers from their Red Sea and Port Sudan dive operations. Four years ago when Eco Divers came to Sulawesi, they not only brought their most experienced management team with them, but also their well known environmental protection policies. At Eco Divers "Take only pictures, leave nothing but bubbles" is not an advertising cliché, but a philosophy which is applied on every dive.

The dive shop has a good assortment of equipment, t-shirts and an extraordinary selection of books, showing off the local Reefs with photos taken by some of the best underwater photographers around. The dive shop also houses the well equipped Photo Centre.

Special dive trips to Lembeh (you have always wondered what muck-diving is all about, so here is your opportunity to try it out). If you have prepaid your other dives, an additional fee of US$20.00 applies, otherwise the cost is US$80.00

Modern facilities, you can have your digital photos burned to CD, rent cameras and accessories, and get advise from the experts. Eco Divers, in conjunction with some of the biggest names in underwater photography, runs Photography and Videography Seminars throughout the year, if you are interested, check with us for dates and who will be conducting the workshops.
